Jacques-Elliott X Grahame Fowler Spring 2013 Polo Collection Preview

Grahame Fowler‘s shop in the West Village is one of Jacques’s all time favorite hang outs. I bought a lot of my favorite pieces from the past two years (Blue Aniline Trickers, Green Melton Wool Varsity, Monk Strap Blue Suede Brothel Creepers) there and was super excited when the man himself was down to make some product together.

G said “polos” and I said “cool!” and then we listened to records and put the collection together. The photos below were shot at Grahame’s studio in Long Island City, fresh from being handsewn. So excuse the odd thread or two.

We made 12 total. All are one of a kind (#rare) with hand sewn trims, buttons and patches. In the words of our friend The Professor: “Yo, this is like if Raewkon was a skinhead!” Works for us. Here’s a preview of some of the looks shot quick and dirty from Grahame’s studio before they hit the racks.
